REACT Monday Makers Camp
Join us every Monday evening in June and July for hands-on STEM fun at REACT Monday Makers Camp!
Designed for students and their guardians to learn together, Monday Makers Camp provides an exciting opportunity to explore robotics, engineering, coding, and creative problem-solving in a fun and supportive environment.
June 1st – Catapult Challenge
June 8th – Freeze Tag
June 15th – Robot Maze Runner
June 22nd – DrawBot Art Machines
June 29th – Claw Machine Engineering
July 6th – Sumo Bot Tournament
July 13th – Balloon Battle Bots
Each week, students and guardians will work side-by-side from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM on engaging STEM activities focused primarily on robotics using VEX IQ robotic systems. Participants will build robots, learn basic engineering concepts, experiment with coding, and tackle exciting design challenges together.

Who can Join?
REACT is open to all students currently in 4th – 12th grade. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a passion for technology!
V5RC and VIQRC Teams
Students work in teams to design, build, and program competitive robots using the VEX platform. Teams prepare for local, state, and national tournaments through structured practice, strategy sessions, and engineering notebook development.
Coding and Engineering Skills
Students learn real-world programming in C++, Python, and block-based code. They develop mechanical engineering principles, 3D design using CAD tools, and electrical systems understanding—preparing them for STEM careers and college pathways.
Mentorship and Support
Our coaches and student mentors guide participants through technical skills, teamwork, and competition strategy. Every student is coached to grow their strengths and contribute meaningfully to their team.
Competitions and Events
REACT teams compete in VEX Robotics competitions throughout the school year, with opportunities to qualify for state and world championships. We also host community showcases to celebrate student achievements.
Equipment Provided
Once you are a member, all the tools and equipment you will need to build a world class robot is available to you. Apply your imagination and see what you can create.
Structured Environment
The REACT location has been equipped with the best security available to ensure a safe environment. Cameras and access control lets you know you are safe at all times.
Scheduling
REACT labs are open after school and weekends to existing teams.
Students not on teams will use this schedule to practice.
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 3:30pm-7pm
Any time can be arranged
Theres probably somebody building right now
Why Join REACT?
- Build Robots, Build Confidence
- Learn real programming and design skills
- Have fun while challenging yourself

What am I paying for?
Robotics is expensive. Your monthly dues goes toward operating costs. We rely on community sponsors to pay for equipment and team fees.
REACT is a not-for-profit organization. There are no paid staff. We do ask all members to actively participate in fundraisers and help get corporate donations.
